With its magazines, open fire and comfy sofas, our bar exudes relaxing charm. It has fine food and drinks and a great atmosphere  which makes The Squirrel Inn popular with locals and visitors alike. Relax, sip a pint and  experience the feeling of home while mingling with the locals, and most of all, enjoying your stay with us!

After a good nights sleep in one of our bedrooms, plan your day over a Continental or Traditional English Breakfast with the morning papers, and return later to unwind in our cosy lounge area after a days touring .

When we acquired the property in mid-2000 it was run down and in need of some TLC so we began a refurbishment project. We did, however, retain the timber floor as it contributes to the traditional style of the bar. The addition of modern and long forgotten pictures throughout the premises adds to the feel.

The Squirrel Inn became an instant favourite with both locals and visitors alike. We have become so popular with people seeking food and accommodation, that we sometimes have to refer people to other local establishments! We now have thirteen guest bedrooms (all but two of which have a private bathroom or shower) with television, direct dial phone, trouser press and hairdryer.

Our rooms have been decorated with soft colours and pine furniture creating a feeling of simplicity and comfort. We have put considerable thought into the layout and finish of the building and have tried to maintain a consistent ambience throughout.

Although our guests frequently comment on having had a pleasant stay, we always welcome their suggestions for improvement. We appreciate these suggestions, no matter how small, as we are constantly striving to enhance both our service and accommodation.

 To sum up, we hope to make your stay in the heart of Surrey a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The Squirrel Inn is a friendly place where folks drop by to have a nice meal along with a quality pint or a dram of fine single malt. The pub fare ranges from finger food to hearty main courses, with delicious soups and salads in between.
